Meet your Doula;

Hello, my name is Miriam Nasieku, a mother to 2 teenagers and a toddler. My background is in documentary production, where I've had a successful international career spanning 16 years. As a storyteller, I've found that the common story which has a profound impact in our human experience, is that of our births. Birth stories go beyond the mere retelling of how one came into existence, it's a narrative filled with profound significance and power. The preceding story of my unassisted home birth was the catalyst to me taking up doula calling, in order to support others through this rite of passage significant period of life. When I embodied trusting my body and by preparing myself by gathering the knowledge on childbirth, I became my own doula and experienced the embedded wisdom in my body, a wisdom that we all carry. My passion for offering my doula services is rooted in wanting to ensure that women have peaceful birth stories. It would be a great honor to be a part of your little one's birth story.
